    Rules and Policies in a Nut Shell

    Membership

  1. Membership is for adults with at least a basic knowledge of polymer clay.
  2. Annual membership fee is $20 which is due by January 31.
  3. New guild members who join from July thru December will pay a pro-rated membership fee of $10.
  4. Non-member drop-in fee is $10 per guild day.
  5. A prospective guild member may attend one guild day at no charge.
  6. Guild members who want to bring a guest, and former members who would like to visit, are asked to let the guild know via e-mail.

    The Lending Library

  7. Only members in good standing can borrow books and videos.
  8. The borrowing member is expected to return the book or video to the guild librarian on or before the next guild day. Late fee is $2 per month.
  9. A member who loses or severely damages a book or video is expected to replace it.

    Demos

  10. We try to schedule at least one polymer clay demo per guild day. If you have an idea for a demo, send an e-mail to Dora, our Demo Coordinator, with your suggestions. Also, if you would like to volunteer for a demo, please let her know!
  11. All guild members are invited to share tips and techniques. Spontaneous demos are welcome.

    Other Business

  12. Meeting hours are 11 AM – 4 PM in Warwick or Woonsocket on the fourth Saturday of each month; there is no guild day in December.
  13. Members who are physically able are asked to help with set up and clean up. Thanks!
  14. The guild owns an oven which stays in the Woonsocket location, but we would appreciate it if members with portable ovens would take turns bringing them to the Warwick location.
  15. Regular attendance is encouraged.
