About our Guild

In the summer of 1999 a few friends, who regularly got together to work with polymer clay, started the Rhode Island Polymer Clay Guild. Now, almost 9 years later, our guild has about 20 members from Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. We usually meet on the fourth Saturday of each month (except December), from 10:30 AM until 3:30 PM, six times a year in Warwick, RI, and 5 times in Greenville, RI.

One Inch Squares

Every guild day is a hands-on clay day. After a brief update about what's going on in the guild, members exchange ideas, suggestions, and tips - and enjoy a full day of claying together. There is usually at least one demo. The picture above is from our September theme swap, "One Inch Square". Judy took a few squares from each of us and put a mosaic together to show all our different pieces.

How to Join

Are you thinking about joining our guild? Would you like to meet our members and clay with us for a day? If you answer "yes" to these questions, and you are an adult who knows at least the basics of polymer clay, e-mail us at ripcg@ripcg.com and we'll get back to you as soon as possible with specifics about the next guild day..

RIPCG Library

Tricia, our guild's librarian, has compiled an inventory of the videos and books in our modest library. Needless to say, only RIPCG members can borrow videos or books. To borrow a video or book from the library, members are asked to e-mail Tricia with their requests.
